Study finds SMBs appreciate hosted phone systems

Similar to their larger counterparts, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) need to have an effective communications strategy to remain competitive with rival firms and keep customers satisfied. In the past, the corporate phone system used a land line, which sometimes made it difficult for employees and clients to remain connected. Today, however, things are much different.

According to a study of more than 16,000 service providers and technology decision-makers by The Eastern Management Group, SMBs made up the majority of hosted and cloud-based PBX system purchases in 2012. In fact, nearly three-quarters of global sales were for companies that needed a system with 30 or fewer phones.

The press Secretariat of the Parliament commented on the new bill, noting that the provisions of the already existing act will be retained.
